This all-day practicum will teach you the principles that go into pneumatic prop design and construction. At the end of the class you’ll bring home a fully functional pneumatic prop to customize.

The day will be a mix of lecture and hands-on prop building.

This class is part of the Haunter’s Annex Haunter Certificate program.

• Mechanisms (Lift, scissor, etc…)
• Physics (Force multiplication, range extension)
• Pneumatic Principles
• Pneumatic Components
• Calculating Pneumatic Force
• Controlling your prop
• Decorating your mechanism

At the end of the day you will leave with a complete pneumatic prop ready for dressing and use in your haunt. The mechanism is built from aluminum and steel and is designed to be disassembled to fit in your luggage if needed.

The project includes the frame, pneumatic components including a pressure regulator, and a RF push button controller.

Attendees need to bring:
Electric Drill
Eye Protection
#2 Phillips screwdriver
Tiny Phillips screwdriver
7/16” Socket or wrench
Tape measure
Black Sharpie
Metal file
Razor knife

We will provide materials that are used in the props including the drill bits

If you are traveling and bringing the drill or any of the tools will be a problem let us know and we’ll find you a loaner for the class.
